Kitchen Distributors offers the World Class services you would expect from any High End Kitchen Studio.  From introduction to final instruction we will provide you with the information you need to make educated and informed decisions about all facets of your Kitchen, Bath or Library.

Initially, it is important to plan for the kitchen you desire at the earliest stages of the process.  Discuss products with your Architect and Interior Designer as you are introduced to them.  Typically, if they are not familiar with them already, they will do the necessary research to tell you if you're headed down the right road.  We prefer to work with you during this stage so that we may make suggested structural and mechanical recommendations to your design professionals before you have already had the plans signed and stamped by an Engineer/Architect.  This type of proper planning is important to keep costs under control both in design and execution of the plans.

Additionally, our education and experience gives us the flexibility to design around pre-determined obstacles.  All of the cabinetry products we offer are fully custom manufacturers.  Some have warranty constraints which may seem to limit their flexibility a bit, but these are applied to protect you, the consumer, as well as themselves.  Each of these manufacturers have certified professional engineers working on your custom pieces to make sure they live up to their highly held reputations for quality and safety.  If you are considering a local millwork or custom shop as your cabinetry source, ask them if they have the professional training mentioned above to guarantee the quality of their work.

As expected by the High End consumer, you demand quality in design, engineering and most importantly - the finish.  As important as the design and engineering are, the finish ranks highest among the desired qualities of most High End consumers.  Separate, fully controlled finish rooms are what you should expect of any Luxury Cabinet manufacturer.  Again, if you are considering a local shop to build your cabinetry, or if you expect to have a finisher apply the finish in the field (at your new or remodeled home), consider the techniques used.  First, there is no way to control the environment in your new or remodeled home well enough for the application of a smooth, durable finish.  Touch up work - maybe, but never the overall finish.  Secondly, if you are considering a local shop, DEMAND to see their finish area.  If it is not a separate, humidified, extracted air space - it will not produce a pristine finish.  You will notice dust, dirt and an overall lack of durability in your finish upon receipt and inspection of your product.  If they have their product finished "across town" it would be well worth the trip to visit that finish room to inspect it yourself.  Fine "World Class" cabinet makers will have a separate, highly engineered and controlled space for finishing your product.  Consider the auto industry and the paint booths designed to keep every bit of dust and dirt away from the cars while painting.  A fine cabinet maker will take those same precautions when finishing your cabinets - which easily may cost as much as a luxury automobile.  Basically, when it comes to finishing cabinetry, there are no shortcuts for a perfect finish.

Finally, after installation you expect to learn how to use the products you purchased.  In addition to your designer's personalized tour, you have several additional options.  Your cabinets come with a "Use and Care" manual sent to you shortly after arrival and installation.  Read it!  Secondly, ask your designer any questions you may have about your new cabinetry.  Remember, typically their future business comes from your word of mouth.  It is important to them that you are happy and educated on how to use your new products.   Additionally, many of the appliance distributors offer training classes on how to use your new toys.  Again, contact your designer for information on how to sign up for these classes.

We hope this information is informative and represents the type of care you can expect from Kitchen Distributors, Inc.
