Bar-Stools that Match Your Kitchen Design

There are so many options when it comes to decorating the kitchen. And bar-stools are a great choice whatever your style, but there are several factors to take into consideration to ensure they complement the overall kitchen design.
- Height. To ensure that you and your guests are comfortable, you need to leave between 9 and 13 inches between the seat and counter.
- Quantity. For stools with a width of 16 to 18 inches, you will require around 21 to 22 inches of space. Bar-stools at 19 to 22 inches need between 24 and 25 inches of space. Swivel stools and those with arms need a couple inches more to prevent users from knocking elbows.
- Style. Bar-stools may be used to save space or to set a statement. In a narrow space or island, you will need to use backless stools. However, if your bar-stools are intended as a design feature, you may like broad-backed stools with deep seating.
- Material. For easy maintenance, choose material such as leather, wood or metal with a microfiber upholstery that can be wiped clean or removable cushions.
