Koin House Showcases 1960s Design

It’s still 1960 inside Denver’s Koin House, but its modern design looks hardly dated. First featured in Architectural Digest in 1964, the home’s original interior has been preserved throughout the decades. Kitchen Distributors designed the original kitchen (pictured above), which still contains most of the original Mutschler cabinets.
Today, the historic home has come full-circle, with Modern in Denver featuring the home’s impeccable style and longevity in its September 2009 issue. In light of the popularity of “Mad Men” style and modern minimalist design, the Koin House confirms what’s old is new again.
