Versatile and Beautiful Kitchen Renovation

Kitchen Distributors recently completed a kitchen renovation that emphasizes function, beauty, and design continuity with the rest of the home.
The kitchen flows into the large breakfast area and wet bar. Open floor plan makes everyday activities a breeze while providing adequate space for entertaining large groups. The home boasts tall ceilings, which are great for spatial interest but can leave a home feeling cold and vacant. We added a second stack of frosted glass doors above the wall and tall cabinets to create a horizontal ribbon around the room, providing texture and a more intimate experience. The fireplace offers an architectural element to separate the two spaces.
This kitchen features two islands that also help to divide work spaces. One island holds the range and the prep sink and is where most of the prep work and cooking takes place. The island opposite is the as the primary cleanup center; equipped with the main sink, 2 dishwashers, and a recycling center. The refrigerator, freezer and main pantry storage house the food on the wall conveniently located perpendicular to the islands. Along with the 2 ovens in the range, this kitchen is also features a steam oven, a high speed oven, and a warming drawer for added convenience.
The breakfast bar features a wine refrigerator, refrigerator drawers, freezer drawers and an icemaker, all seamlessly integrated with matching wood panels. The glass doors are illuminated inside highlighting the crystal collection.
The home is designed using a combination traditional architecture and contemporary interior design. To complement those features we selected custom Anigre cabinetry; a spectacular exotic African wood species with a unique, distinctive pattern. This mottled Anigre flitch has been quartered and vertical grain book-matched.
