A recent article from Kitchens.com explores the idea of the ideal kitchen with six designers turning six kitchen dreams into realities. Each one of these designs is truly unique as they not only meet lifestyle needs, but they express the personal styles of the dreamers, as well. Take a look, and tell us what you think in a comment!

Convenient cooking and entertaining and a seamless transition to an outdoor kitchen were the main components of this chef’s dream kitchen, which was designed with a contemporary style by Paul Anater.

Kelly Morisseau designed this casual kitchen for a music photographer who dreamed of eco-friendly and eclectic flairs; notice the refrigerator with custom-designed guitar door pulls.

Designer Cheryl Kees Clendenon created this shabby-chic style kitchen for a writer who dreamed of a whimsical yet casual space by using a cool-toned color palette, retro accents and drift-wood floors.

This kitchen was designed by Ann Porter for a devoted dog-lover and comes complete with easy-to-clean surfaces and separate food storage, preparation and cleaning areas for easy and comfortable living with her four-legged family members.

This dreamer supports sustainable farming and a twist between Italian and Japanese style, so designer Jennifer Gilmer used reclaimed oak wood and bamboo to create an urban yet outdoorsy kitchen with multiple stylistic influences.

A jewelry business owner dreamed of a modern kitchen that doubled as an entertaining space and a working space, so designer Susan Palmer came up with this sleek European design that was both flexible and functional.
