The results are in, and we are excited to announce William Landeros, CKD and Jed McKenzie are finalists in the 2011 National Kitchen & Bath Association Design Competition. The award in the Open Plan Kitchen category and the design team is one of three finalists selected from a large national pool. Landeros works out of Kitchen Distributors’ Bulthaup showroom in Denver and has received recognition in the past for his kitchen design projects in local and national magazines as well as industry competitions.
“The NKBA, along with our sponsors, is proud to offer member designers from across the country the opportunity to be recognized for their level of skill in applying innovation and creativity to kitchen and bathroom design,” said 2011 NKBA President David Alderman, CMKBD.”
Approximately 500 entries were received for this year’s competition, but only the top three in each of 10 categories made it through to the finals. Landeros and the other winning kitchen designers will be recognized on April 26 at the annual NKBA Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
